ive gotten to work on the game today n finally ironed out the kinks in the parallax code (ended up rewriting it) n im absolutely closer to almost having it be 1-1 to the mockup :) older screenshot from earlier today (current build has scrolling cloud layer :0) #risenringdev

ok i need help why is he a roomba and why have i only been able to either make him go flying or kill momentum entirely i need him to just decelerate like if i were letting go of the dpad

i got incremental movement and dashing working :) i also managed to fix the jumping anim now he controls just like modern kirby!! #risenringdev

#risenringdev PROGRESS SO FAR implemented dashing, walking animations & dashing animations cons: -movements are too mario. need incremental playerspeed. affects everything and makes dashing busted. -implementation of walking animations somehow made jumping anim loop when idle
