So the predictable #LongCovid crash happened today after 4 full on days at Penrith doing #RPIW. Spent the afternoon in bed, but managed to swim in the lake this morning - unfortunately didn’t get rid of the pain or fatigue but enjoyed a couple of hours in nature
I had a lovely & at times emotional conversation with some of our patients this week about what we were trying to achieve with the #RPIW week @ECISTNetwork. They were really encouraged to hear @NCICNHS was doing everything we could do to remove waste & give them back 🕰️ at home

I have loads more to share about our amazing #RPIW week, but after 4 days travelling to Penrith with #LongCovid Its taken its toll & I need to sleep! What I will say is this week has been a Marty Pellow week - only possible with a little bit of help from my friends (Colleagues) x
The ward we were doing the #RPIW also have a bit of a play list, they had a request for the Rolling Stones last week & ABBA this week! One of the stroke patients is struggling with speech but is able to sing pretty much the complete ABBA song 💙
