With a final push from all the mums & staff this weekend, the discharge board is finished & looking amazing!!! The request to have perspex over it to protect it has gone in, & then it will be ready to use. We're so proud of all the work that has gone into it. @NsftQ #safewards
Our OT was sketching up another kingfisher today for our messages of hope/discharge messages wall ready for the mums to continue to colour/paint. It's so nearly finished, and we can't wait to start using it.

Opening keynote for #MHNR2024 and hearing about #safewards ten years on. Fascinating to hear how this work has been disseminated internationally along with the pitfalls of this
@SHSCFT
Suggestions from Len Bowers for researchers going forward:
1. Separate out the different types of conflict and containment to identify how to reduce them beyond #safewards.
2. Look at the literature beyond psychiatry.
@MHNRconf #MHNR2024
#safewards 11 years on. Thank you @gbrennancafc for kicking off #MHNR2024 in your usual engaging and lively style. And for getting Len out of retirement even if it's only for one day!
