Our Southeast side students, parents and teachers deserve to be listened to & not silenced, lied too or retaliate against/punished for supporting workers rights to unionize. We stand in solidarity w/ the #SaveTheEpicFour teachers who were terminated without cause.

Students are angry & frustrated that management is firing excellent educators for no reasoning. When questioned, management has mentioned that the firings were due to "write-ups" and that its a "personal" matter. Nobody should be fired for personal reasons. #JustCauseNotJustCuz

The fight for the EPIC Four continues! The Four teachers were fired during our contract ratification process. 3 of the 4 were on the bargaining team where our Executive Director, LeeAndra Khan mentioned she would "not want to work" with any of us. #SaveTheEpicFour @CTULocal1

The Epic charter executive director said she “would not want to work” with any rank-and-file bargaining members. ⁣ Out loud. ⁣ Where's the stability? Why are we (still) firing Black teachers? Follow @UnionEpic. Give these educators the support they deserve. #SaveTheEpicFour
