A majority of cruise missiles have wings, that’s what makes them cruise. This however has wings because it was a Learjet 60, and a cruise missile would have levelled a decent chunk of the entire block because they��re actually made to explode and have warheads, unlike commercial aircraft.

Can we ALL at least agree on this now? The Learjet 60 crash in Palm Beach County yesterday was a horrific tragedy. All nine people on board were killed when the jet plummeted from roughly 35,000 feet in about 76 seconds, with descent rates exceeding 30,000 feet per minute and impact speeds estimated near 500 mph. Dashcam footage shows it coming in nearly vertical, punching a crater into the roadway, and exploding into a fireball with debris scattered widely. The NTSB has already noted indications the aircraft began breaking up before impact. There is no intact fuselage, no large wing sections sitting nearby—just fragmented wreckage, fire, and a crater. That is what high-energy kinetic impact does to an aircraft.
This is the same physics that people who claim “no plane hit the Pentagon” have been ignoring for 25 years.
American Airlines Flight 77, a Boeing 757, struck the Pentagon at approximately 530 mph. It was a much larger aircraft, loaded with fuel, hitting a reinforced concrete building rather than open ground. The result was not a tidy field of recognizable airplane parts. Wings and lighter structure sheared on contact with columns and walls. Much of the mass “flowed” into the building, penetrated three rings, and was further consumed by the fuel fire and the partial collapse that followed about 30 minutes later.
What was recovered is well documented:
Landing gear and wheel components that match a 757-200
Engine debris consistent with the Rolls-Royce RB211-535 used on that aircraft
Fuselage fragments with American Airlines markings
Both black boxes
DNA identification of nearly all the passengers and crew
Multiple eyewitness accounts of a low-flying American Airlines jet, plus the released security camera footage of the impact
The claim that “there weren’t enough plane parts” is not evidence of a missile or a conspiracy. It is evidence that the person making the claim has never looked at what actually happens when a jet hits a solid structure at hundreds of miles per hour. Yesterday’s Learjet crash is a grim, real-time demonstration of that reality—smaller plane, similar outcome: catastrophic disintegration and very little left that looks like an airplane.
High-speed impacts destroy airframes. That has always been true. The Florida video just makes it harder to pretend otherwise.

Jeff Gregory, a 55-year-old pilot from Pennsylvania, has been identified as the pilot of the LearJet 60 that crashed yesterday in Palm Beach County, Florida.
Jeff had 2 decades of flying experience, according to those familiar with him.
His family are devout Christians and active in their local church.
He leaves behind a beautiful wife and several wonderful children.

The jet was flying from Austin to the Bahamas. TMZ says the crew was pilot Jeff Gregory, 55, and 20-year-old co-pilot Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras.
The crew radioed a MAYDAY before the jet slammed into a roadway in Greenacres, leaving an impact crater. NTSB says it has evidence the plane started breaking up BEFORE impact, but it's still working to confirm.

The co-pilot of the Learjet that cr—shed in Florida has been identified as 20-year-old Nathalia Filgueiras, who reportedly texted her boyfriend just 10 minutes before the de—dly crash.
Her mother says she always feared that flying would eventually take her daughter away from her, despite being proud that she was pursuing her dream.
“I wanted her to live her dream, but I knew that her dream was going to be the thing that would take her away from me,” she told the New York Post.
Just 10 minutes before the crash, Filgueiras reportedly sent her boyfriend a message saying: “I’ve got turbulence, I’ve got ice.”
The jet was reportedly heading to the Bahamas when it plunged toward the ground at approximately 20,000 feet per minute.
Filgueiras earned her pilot’s license while still in high school. Her stepfather said she had accumulated 1,300 flight hours.
She had previously celebrated her achievements on social media, highlighting that she and her boyfriend were both under 21 and already held commercial, multi-engine, instrument and flight instructor certifications.
Eight other people were aboard the aircraft when it cr—shed. Their identities have not yet been released.

On this Florida Learjet Accident. We have to resist the reflex to turn every event into a gender war. This is more nuanced than “the pilot was a man, so stop asking questions about the woman.”
Sure, the captain was 55. That doesn’t tell us who was at the controls or whether the female co-pilot was prepared to assist him. The NTSB is still investigating who was actually flying the plane in its final minutes. She got her license at 17, which is insane and a whole other conversation altogether, and was co-piloting commercial jets at 20. Then there are those May 2026 ATC recordings being attributed to her, where controllers have to get stern about instructions and explain the turbulence to her. That raises questions about preparation, regardless of gender.
Putting any mechanical failure or structural damage to the plane aside, hearing her freaking out makes me question how much help she could provide the pilot in that sort of emergency. That doesn’t prove the captain was effectively flying alone, but identifying him doesn’t suddenly answer that concern either. She was the CO-PILOT. She had shared responsibility for flying the aircraft safely.
All that being said, the questions we should truly be asking are: Who decided to go through the storm? Why? If the plane was damaged, when did they realize it? And why are we comfortable licensing 17-year-olds to fly an aircraft when, at that age, they can’t even buy a pack of cigarettes?
Now that the MALE PILOT of the Florida Lear Jet crash has been identified as 55 year old Jeff Gregory, I hope all the unemployed men trolling misogyny-twitter will take their focus away from the female co-pilot.

Heartbreaking as it is, her parents should be incredibly proud. I can only hope I meet my end with that level or clarity in thought and communication.
By all accounts by pilots, specialists, the like. They were doomed when they started falling, there was no getting out of it.
And those here somehow blaming a co pilot for this crash to get it to fit your incel narrative. You truly need help.
