On this day 2 years ago, @3dartmike created what is likely the coolest looking unit from #SCRAPmod, the Dendrite faction's Receptor (harvester that can stun enemies and doesn't need to return to a drop-off point)

The Demolition Rig is mostly for area control and the Synapse is CC/buffs/debuffs

In #SCRAPmod, the other faction's harvester is like the Hierarchy Reaper Drone: a super harvester that returns resources to itself. Also, these auto-harvesters could be upgraded to fly, and could stun enemy units for a brief time, making them useful in combat too.
I played with this idea in my #SCRAPmod. One faction had a unit that was both harvester and fighter, like the Ghoul from Warcraft 3. It returned to a unit that was a flying refinery that was also a support unit. Like... if those Ghouls returned resources to Zerg Overlords.

@mike_doscher it's also very cool that you worked on my favorite unreleased RTSlike game, and you created my Demolition Rig for #SCRAPmod which is one of my favorite unit designs from the mod :D

One of the coolest models in #SCRAPmod, the Terminal. Terminals are high tier support units that create drones which can deploy into turrets.
Players must balance between having the Terminal spend energy creating more drones, and maintaining an aura improves turret performance.
I have put a lot of time and energy into #SCRAPmod over the years. I would love your feedback on it!
