Got a couple of movies in the mail today, but when I added them to my collection in #CineVault I realised I already own Scream of Fear, but under the name Taste of Fear🤦

Arguably the most true and mind-blowing thriller under Hammer's banner.
Taste of Fear, also known as Scream of Fear, is a great thriller with a brilliant twist at the climax. I mean, this is what you want, right? An unpredictable twist comes your way when you think that the thriller has been exposed too early, and maybe that's the trick to keep you unaware of the turnaround moment. Almost until the climax, I felt like I was watching a highly predictable horror thriller that clearly indicated mediocrity, but I was shocked and blown away by the climax. It's unlikely that the same will happen to you because I was relaxed, unaware, and underestimating the film, while you'll be expecting a lot after reading this review. Things may not be as effective for you, but if they are, then you'll enjoy this experience and remember it for a long time in the future. It's a very influential film since I've noticed many movies copying that "idea" from here, whether they be Hollywood or Bollywood films. It’s also possible that this British film might be a copy of somebody else's work. Nevertheless, it was worth my time, and that's all I care about. Seth Holt's horror thriller is about a crippled girl who goes to see her estranged father after many years. She is welcomed by her stepmother and learns that her father has gone out for some work. She stays there and starts seeing hallucinations of her father's dead body. It's all planned to make her go crazy, but why and how? And will she be able to tackle this with her physical condition? Find out all the answers, and here's something to increase your excitement: Prepare yourself for a fantastic cinematic twist at the end. Susan Strasberg looks stunning, and her performance is even better. Ann Todd is fantastic, and Holt's direction, vision, and storytelling make it a MUST-SEE.
