Public service, to me, has always meant fairness, empathy, and being present for people without prejudice or distinction. Guided by this belief, Sebaashray continues to serve the residents of Diamond Harbour with a singular focus on accessible healthcare and human dignity. Today, I visited the Sebaashray-2 health camp at the Harindanga BDO Office ground in Falta, where I interacted with patients, listened carefully to their concerns, and tried to understand their challenges at a personal level. I reassured them of my continued support and of our commitment to ensuring that healthcare reaches those who need it the most. I am grateful to every doctor, health worker, volunteer, and official who has come together in this collective effort. The warmth, trust, and affection shown by the people of Falta today have truly moved me and strengthened my resolve to walk alongside them, every step of the way.

#Sebaashray2 does more than deliver treatment; it restores trust. It tells every family, “You will not be left alone when illness strikes.” That promise takes shape in the lives of 22 residents from Metiaburuz, who have undergone cataract surgeries at Renuka Eye Hospital, free of cost, with dignity, and with care that does not discriminate between the powerful and the powerless. As these 22 individuals return home with renewed sight, they carry with them more than medical relief. They carry reassurance that governance can be humane, that institutions can care, and that when the state chooses to serve, lives are transformed in the most meaningful ways. That is the responsibility we owe our people. And that is the promise Sebaashray 2 will continue to keep.
