However, in discussing how we wanted to have the community engage in the prompts we found that giving a longer incubation time would allow for garnering inspiration, quality, and a more complete piece. Q: Do I need to work on my piece in the same week during the prompt? A: Not necessarily! As long as the piece is posted in its corresponding window. We yield you the time to think or begin assembling pieces for any bigger prompts. Q: Do I need to participate in every week? A: That’s up to you! Sekitember really allows anyone to participate whenever they’d like. You don’t need to be here from week one. Need to catch up on backlog? Only want to participate in week 5? Totally fine.
