Ziwani Lodge is an oasis on the shores of Tanzania’s #LakeEyasi., and overlooking the Swift Valley, there are 7 cottages that all look like little castles (and they are stunning 💛). BTW—it's an eco-lodge soley run by solar and wind power! #shadowsofafrica

Zebras pose like an Instagram influencer 🦓, wildebeest bend to their knees like they are kissing the ground and another animal selfie in Tanzania’s Ngorongoro Crater. On this second game drive with #ShadowsOfAfrica we even saw the ever elusive black rhino 🦏

Being on safari with #shadowsofafrica was more than just seeing animals lots of animal, it was also about interacting with the people of #Tanzania. We did just that at Ol Mesera Maasai Village. In this tribe there was one chief who had 8 wives, and a whopping 50 children!

One of my favorite things I did in Tanzania on my #shadowsofafrica safari was go to Ol Mesera school to visit the children. We spent time in each classroom, and even learned some Swahili! The kids were just excited as me that we were there 😊

First stop on my African Safari with #shadowsofafrica was #Tarangire National Park where there was no shortage of animals. My favorites were the giraffes🦒💛 (and the impalas, and the warthogs, and the lions—ok I liked them all!)
