Interesting that the only comment by @Shell
CFO Sinead Gorman was misleading and incorrect! Leaves us wondering who is leading the charge against Shell pensioners?

@BryanHayes9598 @Shell Can we believe in the societal worth of, and sustainability from companies that can't be decent to their own ex-employees, whose only income has now been irretrievably cut for the rest of their & their dependents' lives by #Shell and #BP https://t.co/ugBRlEDDe3 #shellukpensions
@bppensioner @bp_plc @bp_UK @amcarmichaelMP Well done to the BP Pensioner Group on this.
To #bp and #Shell so called leaders who have implemented these cuts to pensioners living standards - you should be ashamed.
Any Shell pensioners want to know more:

@Shell Meet any Shell pensioner in UK who has suffer irrecoverable losses of up to 11% in pension value due to Shell's
meanness.

@PaddyBriggs @Shell Does he think UK pensioners are enjoying retirement after his replacement decided to renege on discretionary increases and deliver a real terms cut in living standards.
Or maybe #Shell could just try answering why they did this

@PaddyBriggs @Shell Unless I'm mistaken Ben vB still advises the board - but may well be a lone voice. Indeed ex-Harvard Sawan seems to be ramming an entirely bottom line (and forget other values) focus which is impoverishing U.K. pensioners.

@Shell The latest profit figures from Shell demonstrate that Shell UK Pensioners should have enjoyed a share of the rewards by getting full RPI inflation increases for the last 2 years. This is fully affordable based on the robust health of the Pension funds.
#shellukpensions
@BryanHayes9598 @MartinSLewis @Shell Also, @Shell now benefits from 50% of the pension Fund's surplus being used to accelerate ridding Shell of liabilities toward pensioners, further reducing scope for benefits to pensioners. GREED, DISRESPECT- where have Shell's values gone?

@MartinSLewis Martin, @Shell £5.1B profit last quarter, broke 40 years of precedent by refusing it’s UK pensioners a discretionary increase which delivered a real terms decrease in living standards. While @Shell NL pensioners received a full increase.

Yet at the same time Shell broke with over 40 years of precedence to deliver a real terms cost of living decrease to it’s own UK pensioners? Yet gave full increase in the NL?

@BryanHayes9598 @Shell These latest profit figures from Shell demonstrate that Shell UK Pensioners should also have enjoyed a share of the rewards by getting full RPI inflation increases for the last 2 years. This is fully affordable based on the robust health of the Pension funds.

@Shell £5.1B quarterly profits yet won’t fix the real terms cost of living decrease given to UK pensioners? Our fund is very robust and able to pay a full increase, but broke 40 years of precedent and refused it.

@BryanHayes9598 @bppensioner @Shell Yes, BP and Shell have very often followed down similar paths, for good and, in this case, bad !

@bppensioner Can I add that @Shell pensioners are also in a very similar situation and are also campaigning on the real terms worsening of our pensions and support your efforts.

@BryanHayes9598 @Shell @eohiggins @ShellEnergyHome Indeed there is a new meaness in @Shell_UKLtd that breaks 4 decades of established practice in providing pension increases in line with cost of living. It prevented proper inceaeses even though no extra money was needed from @Shell. MEAN!

https://t.co/ugBRlED5ov
@Shell @eohiggins @ShellEnergyHome On the subject of @Shell owing some money, when are you going to rectify the callous decision to end discretionary increases to @Shell UK pensioners? You delivered a real terms cost of living decrease to us while making record profits.

https://t.co/CdsFRaQsPq.
@Shell @electric_si @Shell your UK pensioners are also adapting, after you broke over 40 years of precedence to deliver a real terms cut to living standards by suddenly ending discretionary increases. When will you put this right?

@bppensioner @CommonsWorkPen @bp_plc Thanks @bppensioner for the representations made. If as Nick said, BP and @Shell are in lock-step in the sub-inflation pension increases, I hope @Shell realises the reputational damage that will come it's way and reconsider. #bppensions
#shellukpensions
@CommonsWorkPen @bppensioner @Apptrustees @AmntOrg @TheSPP1 @hymansrobertson As a @Shell retiree in the UK, we have received similar treatment to BP. Refusing discretionary increases in a year of record profits. Yet @Shell allowed the increase for staff in the NL. This is unfair and and should be challenged
