#Scotstober #sithean Jamieson doesn’t have an entry for SITHEAN, as in his day, it was a Gaelic word that had not yet been adopted into Scots. He does however quote the word in his entry for FAIRY-HILLOCKS ('verdant knolls'), which was the 19th-century Lowland word for them.
