Build it and they will come.... Farms, Zoos, shopping malls.... we checked our area and perimeter to make sure we could build a proper fence and floor!#sjanumeracy

Our first attempt at adventure writing was in a snow globe. It was a good start to using our graphic organizers. We will use the feedback from our work to bump up the content of our next adventure stories. #sjanumeracy.

We are working on addition with regrouping. It is nice to be at school to do some hands on regrouping with our manipulative bags! #ocsbMath #sjanumeracy

Time really is flying by this year... hard to know how many days it’s been🤪. You can practice time at home to the five minute interval. Show an analogue clock and ask the time, provide a digital time and ask your child where the clock hands would go. #sjanumeracy

Walk this way to showing an understanding of the measurement! Always love making connections with literacy and math. Today we read The Foot Book, and measured the length and circumference of our foot by using string and the meter stick. #sjanumeracy
