Just like in the #SmithfieldTrial, jurors will be able to ask witnesses questions in the #FosterFarmsTrial. They have already submitted multiple questions for defendant Alicia Santurio. Follow @FosterFarmTrial to find out what the questions and answers are later this afternoon.
On Friday, Wayne asked the judge to include CalCrim106 in the juror instructions, letting them know they can ask questions. The judge agreed. Jurors have already started submitting questions for defendant Alicia, which will be asked at 1:30pm when Alicia takes the stand again.
The prosecution is calling its first witnesses today in the #FosterFarmsTrial. Fortunately, the jury has been allowed to ask questions of the witnesses as in UT during the #SmithfieldTrial. Follow @FosterFarmTrial for live updates.
One final decision that was made today is that the jurors will be able to ask questions during the trial, just like in the #SmithfieldTrial.
