In issue #43 of the GI Joe comic series, Soft Master is killed by Scrap-Iron, who blasts him with a rocket launcher. Soft Master sacrificed himself so 3 innocent people would not be killed. #gijoe #easteregg #stormshadow #softmaster #ninja #firefly #scrapiron #comics

Here is #ScrapIron’s intro in #Marvel #GiJoe 43 by #LarryHama. The ominous cover foreshadowed what would happen. SI destroys some beloved characters: #SoftMaster, #Candy and seemingly #Billy. Younger me was shocked, and I cannot forget #Buzzer laughing during the explosion.
