AI promised less work. Parallel agents delivered an attention tax.

Karpathy's list of AI coder sins: assuming, 1,000 lines where 100 do, touching code nobody asked about.
Now it's one CLAUDE.md. Design agents need it too.

Andrej Karpathy listed exactly how AI coders mess up: they assume instead of asking, write 1,000 lines when 100 would do, and quietly change code you never asked them to touch.
Someone turned his list into a single CLAUDE.md file. It's now one of the most-starred repos on GitHub, with 225K stars.
It gives Claude 4 rules:
think before coding, and ask when unsure
keep it simple
only change what was asked
define what "done" looks like, then loop until it passes
Add it to any project:
curl -o CLAUDE.md https://t.co/jQPSZa4eEI
Or install it as a Claude Code plugin so it applies everywhere. Works in Cursor too.
No Figma license. No agency. Claude Code as a design studio, step one: feed it your brand files.

Holy sh*t I spent weeks turning Claude Code into a design studio.
no Figma license. no agency. no plugins I had to pay for.
here's the stack I used and it's embarrassingly simple:
-> graphify: teach Claude your brand
dump your guidelines, logos, PDFs and old projects into one folder. graphify turns it into a knowledge graph, so every design Claude makes follows your rules instead of guessing. 134k stars, Y Combinator.
uv tool install graphifyy -> graphify install -> /graphify .
https://t.co/4jokm3ebW1
-> Figma-Context-MCP: Figma straight to code
it hands your actual Figma file to the agent. the README says it builds designs in one shot, and does it better than pasting screenshots.
https://t.co/0No2r6eEUs
-> Penpot: the open-source Figma
free, open source, and its MCP server lets AI read and edit your designs, then hand them to code and back.
https://t.co/9MDSY9cVGC
-> React Bits: the "expensive" look, for free
the biggest open-source library of animated React components. those smooth hover effects and text animations you see on high-end sites? copy, paste, done.
https://t.co/3g6mZWOA7I
-> HyperFrames: designs that move
write HTML, get a finished video. made by HeyGen for AI agents. your landing page can now have its own launch video by tonight.
claude plugin marketplace add heygen-com/hyperframes -> claude plugin install hyperframes@hyperframes
https://t.co/TyUf1vFELD
-> MCP for Blender: 3D without learning Blender
connects Claude to Blender. describe a scene, the agent builds and edits it in real 3D.
https://t.co/nG4caKbnTI
the order that works:
brand into graphify -> design in Figma or Penpot -> Claude builds it with React Bits -> HyperFrames makes the promo -> Blender adds the 3D hero shot
the uncomfortable part:
tools used to be the moat. now everyone has them for free.
the only thing that still separates good design from AI slop is taste. and taste is the one thing you can't install.
bookmark this. your next client will ask why you're suddenly so fast.
Meta Ray-Bans turned into 3,000+ Elo chess cheat glasses with Opus 5.5. Open-sourced.

this is crazy...
the guy reverse-engineered his Meta Ray-Bans 3 with Opus 5.5 into a 3,000+ Elo chess engine
he built AI chess cheat glasses on Opus 5.5 + Jev and open-sourced the whole workflow
here's how it works step by step:
step 1 → install it on your Mac with one command: npx chesshacker setup.
It downloads Stockfish from GitHub and verifies the checksum
step 2 → put on Meta Ray-Bans and video-call your own Mac on WhatsApp.
The glasses see the board, the Mac sees what the glasses see
step 3 → the Mac grabs frames straight from the call window.
About 1 per second while it waits for the opponent, 1 every 3 seconds on your turn
step 4 → Jev runs a cheap pre-check on every frame:
is the board readable, is a hand over it, did a piece move? No change means no expensive AI call
step 5 → only then Opus 5.5 reads the board.
The app compares it with the position it already knows and accepts a move only if it's legal
step 6 → Stockfish thinks for half a second and picks the best reply, with an eval like +1.5 or "mate in 3"
step 7 → macOS speaks it through a virtual mic into the WhatsApp call: "Rook a to d1". You hear it in your ear
step 8 → on the Mac a command center shows everything live: whose turn it is, the suggested move with a confidence bar, the move list and a log
under the hood:
→ if Opus loses track of the board, the glasses say "Lost track of the board" and you fix it with undo or by typing the move
→ if Stockfish crashes, it restarts once and says "Something went wrong. Still trying"
→ every game is saved as a PGN file, API keys live in the macOS Keychain
→ an overlay draws the suggested move as an arrow on the live video, ready for OBS
Clone his workflow below
Then read the guide on how to reverse-engineer anything with Opus 5.5.

Someone asked Claude Code to "buy me a Waymo to Delah Coffee from my current location." It picked up the iPhone and did it.
phone-harness lets Claude Code, Codex or any agent use your real phone. It scrolls, taps, types and reads the screen like you would. No jailbreak, no Xcode, nothing installed on the phone.
On iPhone it works through the Mac's iPhone Mirroring window (macOS 15+, iOS 18+). On Android it uses adb, from Mac, Windows or Linux.
To set it up, send the setup prompt from the README to your agent, and it walks you through the rest.

#AgenticDesign #SortedPixels #Taste

tech desperately needs a new design aesthetic
we literally have agi now and flying cars
but every ui looks the same with this apple/linear minimalist rounded corner tailwind shadcn slop look
we’re not thinking big enough on how things should look and feel
chatting with an agent should look and make me feel like i’m living in the future
it should make me feel hope and awe and optimism that humanity actually got to agi and it will lead to unimaginable prosperity
it should make me tap into my 9 year old self, who wondered if we’d *ever* have talking humanoid robots, and make me feel totally amazed by the realization that this future is not even a possibility now, it is a CERTAINTY!
the time is so ripe now
the coding agents have gotten so good that we can be experimenting and playing with new ideas 100x faster than before
now is the time for excessive experimentation

#AgenticDesign #SortedPixels #Privacy
While I reverse engineering my Wi-Fi router, Claude found f*cking scary privacy problem...
Internet provider sees every site I open and can change anything in my router without asking me
here's what else it found and 5 steps to fix yours:
what Claude found:
• my router keeps a list of 29 devices that ever touched my Wi-Fi and see when new connects
• my provider can reach into my router any time, Claude found channel hiding in my connection name, and I have no way to turn it off
• every site I opened was looked up though my provider in plain text
• my provider's app on my TV box kept sending data while TV was off
• and much more...
and it's not just me:
- about 1 billion devices have this remote channel (University of Innsbruck)
- researhers pulled 2 billion+ router locations from Apple's Wi-Fi database, accurate to meters (University of Maryland)
how to fix yours:
1. install repo below (It also helps improve Wi-Fi speed) and send Claude Code a photo of your router
2. change admin password from the one on the sticker
3. turn on encrypted DNS, your provider stops seeing your lookups
4. turn on Private Wi-Fi Address, your phone stops showing its real ID to every router
5. add _normal to your Wi-Fi name, Apple and Google stop adding it to their location maps
Do it as soon as possible. Then read article below on how to find these problems in other tech:
Grok Bot picks my morning X posts: 5k+ originals, drafts by noon.

#SortedPixels
My Grok Bot now decides what I post every morning to get over 100k impressions per post
here's everything it does:
1. Scout.
it reads the 18 accounts I learn from and keeps only original posts that cleared 5,000 views. anything past 10k gets a star. replies don't count.
2. Pattern miner.
it doesn't copy posts. it pulls what keeps showing up in the winners: cold opens, numbered stacks, named tools, soft calls to action.
3. Draft writer.
patterns go in, ready English drafts come out, each with a short video tip. same energy that already traveled, none of the original wording.
4. Weather check.
every day it also scans ~20 fresh AI posts from the last 48 hours outside my list. my watchlist is school. outsiders are the weather.
5. Noon digest.
everything lands before noon: the hits, the patterns, the drafts. I open it with coffee instead of scrolling for an hour.
6. The board.
one screen with my X Score, a daily target and a DONE / NOT DONE chip on every hit. I see what's left at a glance.
the result: I ship 1-2 posts a day without guessing. and the formats it chases are the same kind that took one of my posts to 5M views per month.
it never posts for me. I pick the draft, fix it in my voice, hit publish.
it's free. the repo, the live board and the Grok Bot template are in the article below
Generative UI has an open standard now. OpenUI (@openuidev) streams model-written UI into your own components. Productboard is an adopter.
