2/2 In addition, the #SQLCallStackResolver UI also makes it easy to select the #SQLServer2022 build for analysis (screenshot below).
For manual symbol download you can always get to the Wiki for the same (link mentioned within https://t.co/YGTron2HMV

@arvisam #sqlcallstackresolver is a great tool!
It is very useful for learning the internal workings of SQL Server.
@m82labs If you gather bucketized callstacks using a XE like shown in https://t.co/3H1mQWnRfV and then resolve to a proper symbolized form using #SQLCallStackResolver, it should be possible to have a more precise hypothesis.
@spaghettidba A call stack before / after comparison would be an accurate way to tell. Similar issue demo at https://t.co/dszIn1MVSq
Using an XE like the one shown in the demo coupled with offline callstack resolution using #sqlcallstackresolver would be my personal approach
Debug symbol (PDB) info for the latest #sqlserver updates released this week have been incorporated into the #SQLCallStackResolver tool, as well as the corresponding Wiki on GitHub. https://t.co/rng5Pzi5qb
Public PDB info for the newly released #SQLServer 2019 CU7 has been updated in #SQLCallStackResolver. This being the first CU released after #SQLCallStackResolver 2.x, users should automatically be notified of the new symbol info. Click Yes & it will update its local symbol info!
I have released #SQLCallStackResolver 2.0, with a number of perf, accuracy and usability improvements. Please take a look, and do consider leaving a star for the repo if you find it useful for troubleshooting tricky #SQLServer issues: https://t.co/rng5Pzi5qb
I have updated the #SQLCallStackResolver wiki with the PDB symbol download script for the recently released #SQLServer 2019 CU5 https://t.co/rLMkH9ybAr
FYI I added PDB symbol download instructions for many #SQLServer builds to #SQLCallStackResolver wiki. CC likely interested folks: @SQL_Kiwi @AaronBertrand @sqL_handLe @SQLHA @erikdarlingdata https://t.co/TT4MeymHXs
P.S. if useful pls. spread the word & ⭐ the GitHub project :-)

@grrl_geek And given this seems to be an OLTP workload, watch out for spinlock contention issues. #SQLCallstackResolver can be your friend to quickly investigate those. https://t.co/fTjCRk5zXG
Interesting... msdia140.dll is redistributable as part of an app: https://t.co/JjObMRU7Fu . This is big for #SQLCallStackResolver as it eliminates one of the pre-req install steps.
With #SQLServer2019 CTP 3.0 now available, the scripts to download essential public PDBs for analysis using #SQLCallStackResolver are updated: https://t.co/JTHYp1HvHF #SQLServer
Script to download relevant PDBs for #SQLServer 2019 CTP 2.4 has now been added to the #SQLCallStackResolver Wiki https://t.co/JTHYp1HvHF #WinDbg
