💙 MORE THAN A VISIT—A PROMISE TO PRINCETOWN 👑 Friends, today Prince William visited Princetown in Dartmoor, but this was about far more than another royal engagement. As Duke of Cornwall, William has chosen not to personally benefit from the £1.5 million in annual rent generated by the Dartmoor Prison site. Instead, that income will be reinvested in Princetown and the surrounding community—supporting the people whose lives and livelihoods have been affected by the prison’s closure. The new Princetown Community Fund will provide at least £250,000 each year for locally led projects creating social, economic and environmental benefits. William spent time listening to residents, businesses and organisations, including the local Youth Club and Gather & Moor community hub. There is something deeply meaningful about returning resources to the community from which they came—and allowing local people to help decide how their future should be shaped. Thank you, Prince William, for listening, investing and showing that leadership can be measured not only by words, but by the lives and communities we choose to support. 💙 📸 Images via The Prince and Princess of Wales #PrinceWilliam #PrinceOfWales #DukeOfCornwall #Princetown #Dartmoor #RoyalEngagement #BritishRoyalFamily #RoyalFamily #Royal #Legacy #Honor #WhispersOfTheCrown
