Thankfully @MentalWoke & @HolmbergBrit created a bill in response to the racial bias in the ASWB exam. Now those who do not pass the test the first time can take an alternative path to licensure. Illinois Gov. signed this into law last year and it just went into effect Jan 1st

I am hopeful that other states follow suit. We are in the middle of a suicide crisis and we need more Black clinical social workers to be fully licensed so that they can work independently, supervise, and earn higher salaries. Please read more and stay up to date about #StopASWB

You probably missed the quiet release of 2022 ASWB pass rates in July 2023. Instead of building on data released in 2022, it's less descriptive and shows decreased passing on every exam.
