@embracethesor @tiffany_peltier Yes to this! I have parents asking for lists. I give sample lists but it’s still hard for them to understand the shift even after I explain. Not what they grew up with… #stopmemorizing

Teaching a difficult concept in Gr12 Math and all the students want are the formulas. This is an “illusion of learning”. I am teaching the students the reasoning/proving/deriving of formulas so they can develop the deep understanding they need. #stopmemorizing @peelengagemath
