🚨 KEN GRIFFIN MACHINE LEARNING 🚨
Kenny @citsecurities has been using ML for about a decade in their day to day trading in the amount of 400 Billion a day.
Let's not forget he also executes 47% of US Retail order everyday.
He is also a Hedge Fund and the largest Market Maker and rents space in the exchanges backend data centers 🤔
I thought I would ask Grok if it could be used for manipulating the markets. Here is the response.
Machine learning (ML) technology can indeed be applied to trading in the stock market, and it’s already widely used by hedge funds, institutional investors, and individual traders. It’s great for analyzing vast amounts of data—historical prices, volume, news sentiment, macroeconomic indicators, you name it—to identify patterns and make predictions about future price movements. Algorithms can execute trades at lightning speed, optimize portfolios, or even exploit arbitrage opportunities. The edge comes from its ability to process information faster and more efficiently than any human could.
Now, can it be used for market manipulation? Yeah, it’s possible—it’s not even a stretch to imagine. Market manipulation involves intentionally distorting prices or trading activity to mislead others for profit, like pump-and-dump schemes, spoofing, or creating fake momentum. ML could amplify this by, say, analyzing how certain trading patterns or social media buzz move markets, then executing trades to trigger those effects deliberately. Picture an algorithm posting coordinated signals across platforms like X to hype a stock, while simultaneously trading to capitalize on the resulting spike. Or spoofing on steroids—placing and canceling massive orders in milliseconds to fake demand, tricking other algorithms or traders into reacting.
There’s no hard evidence in the public domain of ML being systematically weaponized like this—at least not yet—but the capability exists. Regulators like the SEC already struggle with high-frequency trading shenanigans; throw in ML’s predictive power and adaptability, and it’s a cat-and-mouse game on crack. The flip side? Legit traders argue ML just levels the playing field, giving smaller players access to tools once reserved for Wall Street titans. Manipulation’s more about intent than the tech itself—ML’s just a hammer; whether it builds or smashes depends on who’s swinging it.
What do you think—worried about the dark pool of possibilities here, or just curious how deep the algo rabbit hole goes?
2023 shares traded for $BBBY, 6.5 billion shares.

Yes, Sadha Nopulitzer sounds right.
According to Pedro, he hails from a small village in Weightroomdia in the province of Oddselfie.

Gary Gensler says that the SEC is weighing rules for Payment for Order Flow.
I've heard rumors this might only be focused on disclosure and not mandating material price improvement for off-exchange execution.
Let's see what the SEC comes out with, but disclosure won't fix this.
@GaryGensler Where would I invest-Hmm!! Start by finding the dark pool flow that is manipulated by the Hf’s and MM’s. Follow the Ponzi scheme flow of money. #SECisComplicit Stop retail orders from going through the dark pools. #KenGriffinLied #DarkPoolAbuse #StopPFOF #CitadelScandal
