@wsyx6 @JessiStarkey Appreciate you guys getting out there and sharing the story of what was pretty clearly a bad plan from the start. Oil and water do not mix. #stopsheetz @sheetzstop @sheetz thanks for keeping families first.

Big news for our neighbors! @sheetz has listened to our concerns. Shots of clean water for everyone!!!! #stopsheetz. @sheetzstop
The development of a new Sheetz location in Worthington Hills has been suspended due to the location's proximity to Aqua America's aquifer.

This is important in the push to #stopsheetz @sheetzstop @sheetz Residents of this area concerned with clean drinking water need to attend. Local media, this has solid elements for journalists: 2 clear sides, grassroots push back, environmental safety, big biz v. local residents.
Thank you for doing this. Too much secretly going on here with the developer and building a gas station 300 feet from our communities water supply is just dumb @SheetzStop @sheetz #stopsheetz
Choppy waters for @Sheetz along the scenic Olentangy River. That serpent under the water represents concerned families whose water supply would be at risk if #sheetz chose to drop anchor near the water treatment plant. Time to find a new port. #stopsheetz @sheetzstop
@sheetz how can a company not respond when over 2000 members of the community are pleading to not build at this location? #stopsheetz is this just normal business for you sheetz? https://t.co/MEEfhqhb6Y
The meeting was scheduled by @FranklinCoOhio once they became aware of residents concerns over @sheetz unsafe proximity to water treatment plant, The Goddard School, The Olentangy River and a bike path. Grassroots pushback to this bad idea is being heard. #stopsheetz @sheetzstop
Wow🤬. EPA violations against @sheetz. You think we want tanks like this directly next to our drinking water? 4/19/2005: Sheetz, Inc. Settles Underground Fuel Tank Violations in Pa., Va., Md., and W. Va. @HattieHawksNBC4 #stopsheetz https://t.co/w7eO02VE2X
#stopsheetz why does my sheetz coffee taste like gas? CAUSE IT LEAKED INTO OUR DRINKING WATER at Worthington Hills!
@KarlThiessen @sheetz Careful what you wish for. They might put one on top of your local water supply 🥲... #stopsheetz @stopsheetz
With all this noise @Sheetz remains quiet. They are in bed with Skillken Gold who will not return calls from Aqua. Does Sheetz care about the communities they develop in? We’ll see....find a smarter location. #stopsheetz
@SheetzStop @sheetz you have chosen a location that you simply can't have even one mistake without threatening the water supply for a huge community #stopsheetz
@sheetz Our community implores you to do the right thing and find another location. You are jeopardizing the safety of our drinking water supply.
#stopsheetz @SheetzStop @MyAquaAmerica
@sheetz Please reconsider your plans for the Worthington Hills area....We really don't need another gas station. Especially one so close to our drinking water source. #stopsheetz
@Sheetz Hopefully you will listen to the community and find an alternative location to build as this community does not want a gas station 300 feet from a water treatment plant @AquaOhio #stopsheetz
@ColumbiaMSPH thank you for writing this eye opening article. Thought you should be aware that the worst case scenario is happening. A large gas station with pumps less than 300 feet from a well serving thousands of people!#stopsheetz @sheetz
@sheetz I know you all prepare for the worst, but how can you do that when everyday use produces a likely disasterous outcome.
Just asking you to pick a different spot.
