@julzfamilytree Isn’t it beautiful! It’s a 1910 Valuation Act map, & the red numbers correspond to the respective assessment number in the field book, which will give me the owner, occupier,& a description of the property where someone from my #StreetStudy lived & worked after she left my street
Very successful trip to The National Archives last week, including some agricultural records for my #NotAOnePlaceStudy, some 1910 Valuation Act records for previous residences of a couple of my #StreetStudy residents, & farm survey records for my wider family #OnePlaceWednesday
In preparation for next year’s #AtoZchallenge, I started researching a #StreetStudy resident whose name begins with Z. I’ll probably focus on my #NotAOnePlaceStudy for the challenge, but I’ve enjoyed researching Z, & she will definitely feature in a future blog #OnePlaceWednesday
@stjerome1st I once spent nearly an hour trying unsuccessfully to book tickets for something only to discover that it was because the computer didn’t like the apostrophe in my #StreetStudy name 🙄 🤯🤬Seems crazy to let computers dictate our punctuation 🤷🏻♀️
