Added another staple of platforming, keys! There will be specific blocks which will only let you through, if you have picked up a key already! Added everything to the parser, so they work from an exported string! #pico8 #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart #wip #switchjump #platformer

Finally done with the decoding, supporting all current mechanics in the game. Geysers were tricky, but with some magic i managed to make them work both with and without blocks on them, and also different strengths as well. #pico8 #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart #switchjump

So it is at 80%, the basics are now generated from an ugly string. That left corner is still a mystery to me, and also, a bouncer should be there, but it isn't ... debug time #pico8 #pixelart #gamedev #indiedev #mapgeneration #switchjump

So atm i'm working on several functions, which will allow me, to store maps for Switch Jump in strings, and generate the map from it runtime! The parsing parsing part is done, now it's time to actually build the map! (not optimized) #pixelart #pico8 #indiedev #gamedev #switchjump
