#SystematicIndustries CMP: 282 MCAP: 630 cr P/E: 29 The single biggest trigger is the ramp up of the new age OPGW and optical fibre cable business, since these products carry much better margins than plain steel wire and management has stated an ambition to expand overall margins toward 10 percent within the next two years. The company's first EPC contract win from Power Grid Corporation of India for the 400 KV Agra Kumher corridor is a major proof point, since it has now qualified the company to bid for a much larger pipeline of OPGW tenders estimated at around 1,000 crore for the coming year, and it has also already secured its first export order for OPGW cables. A landmark order from Indian Railways for armoured optical fibre cables further signals expansion into a new customer category beyond the power sector. On the capacity side, the new steel wire facility coming online in November 2026 will boost volumes, and the two recent acquisitions of the Chhattisgarh based GI wire facility and the Howrah based Wire Brigade Industries give the company a genuinely pan India manufacturing footprint that should help it serve customers faster and access new regional markets. At the broader industry level, India's infrastructure spending is projected to grow from about 11.2 lakh crore in FY26 to 12.2 lakh crore in FY27, government targets aim to expand power transmission lines from about 495,000 circuit kilometers today to 650,000 by FY32, and the BharatNet and Digital India programs aim to connect hundreds of thousands of additional villages with optical fibre, all of which represent large structural tailwinds the company is directly positioned to benefit from. Lastly, becoming net debt free frees up cash flow that would otherwise go toward interest payments, giving the company more room to fund growth and improve profitability.
