Giving grace is not a natural response for some. Try seeing it as a “strategy” to support a student, and it will become a regular response. And of course any strategy that is modeled well by the teacher, in turn, is used by students! #GiveGrace #TeachGrace

Sometimes the deepest connections that we make w/ our students are borne from the most difficult situations. Demonstrating our resolve to extend grace and understanding every day increases the likelihood that Ss will seek us out in support of their next issue. #SEL #kidsdeserveit

As a teacher it isn’t my job to be “tough” on my middle school students to prepare them for high school. A little grace and helping them feel successful goes a long way. #teachgrace
