✅YAP/TAZとTEADの関係は鍵と鍵穴に似ています。
１．YAP/TAZ：TEADにくっついて、細胞増殖（アクセル）のスイッチを起動させる「鍵🔑」のような存在です。
２．TEAD：YAP/TAZが働くために欠かせない相棒で、DNAの特定の場所にぴったり結合して待機している「鍵穴🔓」のような存在です。
３．ヒッポ（Hippo）シグナル経路：アクセルが出っぱなしだと、細胞が無限に増え続けてしまいます。このYAP/TAZの暴走を抑える「ブレーキ🙅♂️」として働きます。

2026年ASCO年次総会で報告された第1相試験では、76名の進行固形がん患者（中皮腫29名、類上皮血管内皮腫15名、その他32名）において良好な忍容性を示しました。 中皮腫患者18名で全奏効率（ORR） 27.8%（疾患制御率77.8%）、類上皮血管内皮腫患者9名でORR 22.2%（疾患制御率100%）でした。
YAP/TAZ-TEAD経路は脱分化型脂肪肉腫（DDLPS）や未分化多形肉腫（UPS）、平滑筋肉腫（LMS）などでも活性化が報告されており、今後の治療標的として期待されています。
