#TeamBioEngine has graduated seven bachlor and master students this spring in cyborganics, self-maintainable systems, digital health and cell therapy.
We have several openings this fall as well - Join to make the planet future-ready.

In #TeamBioEngine, we are using a cell-free approach to regrow impaired tissues.
In this approach, soft biomaterials attract endogenous cells and reprogram them to accelerate the tissue regeneration process.
In one study, we nearly achieved full bone regrowth after only 8 weeks.

🚨New bacteria-derived hydrogel heals tissue ‼️
The recent #teambioengine piece led by Seyyed Vahid Niknezhad and Mehdi Mehrali on #bactogels for tissue engineering has gone viral and been highlighted by several highly esteemed scientific news outlets:

Be extremely careful during the hiring phase. Otherwise disaster might strick your team 🤯
Here are some hard earned tips from #TeamBioEngine to avoid bad hires:
👉 Take the time to carefully vet candidates. Don’t skip background checks and reference calls!
👉 Ensure that new hires align with your team’s values and culture. A great resume with hundreds of papers doesn’t guarantee a great fit.
👉 Include team members in the interview process. After all they will be spending more time with them than you.
👉 If possible, offer a trial period to observe how candidates interact with the team before making a long-term commitment.
How does your team avoid bad hires?

#TeamBioEngine has published yet another exciting breakthrough in tissue engineering and #celltherapy in bioactive materials (IF = 18.9).
In this work our team harnessed the power of bacteria to create a new hydrogel with superhealing properties.
We have coined this new hydrogel system, PAMA, and it is elastic, resilient, and bioactive, making it perfect for tissue regeneration.
We've successfully used this innovative hydrogel to treat critical muscle injuries in rats with remarkable results.
Indeed, our studies show a significant increase in muscle formation and reduced fibrous tissue.
With nearly 100% recovery, impressive biocompatibility and superhealing capacity PAMA presents a new frontier in the field.
Imagine a future where bacteria-derived gels – or put simply bactogels – revolutionize tissue engienering and cell therapy.
Imagine a future where these so called bactomers are used in regenerative bacto-baths to heal injured tissues on patients.
In the future such technologies combined with soft electronic materials will become a cornerstone in the cyborganic portfolio of our recent spin out Cybosense .
