Hello #TeamMeathead - ovarian cysts/endo have meant that I haven’t been able to lift. I can’t squat or DL at the moment but I just did my first working set of bench, set of 10 at 50kg/110lb and it didn’t record 🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃 will hopefully record set 2
Okay so, #TeamMeathead, finally lifting again. Sets of 8 deadlifts at 80kg which feel light, but my grip strength sucks. Also RDLs and lunges for accessories.
Also, I hate AND love that the running has had positive impacts on my stamina and energy, and the quad cities are back
Taking my first tentative steps back. From a starting position of nil, goal is regular unassisted bodyweight exercises off gymnastics rings. Tonight was an all upper body run-through with bands just to wake the muscles from their deep slumber #TeamMeathead

Your girl is doing bench today. Bench sets are 3 sets of 10 at 50kg/110lb which is probably (?) a rep PR. Heaviest I’ve done for 5 is 57.5 so I think I’m doing okay. Here is vid, accessories listed in next tweet.
Your girl just did the impossible, “ran” (barely shuffled) 10 minutes for the first day of “Run with Turia”, a 10wk program to eventually run 5k. It was shit BUT it is progress to my 2022 goal of “be less shit”. #TeamMeathead
Sooo, my cardio fitness needs significant improvement, it very much sucks.
For reasons I have signed up for a 15 week program to get from current state, to running 5k.
I did this in 2014 also and got to where I ran 5k and haven’t run since, so it’ll be interesting. #TeamMeathead

Comp bench: 3 sets of 10 at 47.5kg/105lb
Dumbbell rows: 3 of 12 at 12.5kg
Arnold press: 3 of 12 at 8kg per hand
Lat raises: 3 of 12 at 6kg
