The briefing brought out the Formation’s transition towards a #FutureReady force, driven by New Generation Equipment (#NGE), adoption of #AI, automation and indigenous innovations, complemented by training in Unmanned Aerial System (#UAS) and counter-UAS environments, network-centric operations and enhanced tri-service jointness.
The Army Commander appreciated the Formation’s drive towards #Atmanirbharta through rapid #TechInfusion, organisational innovation and sustained capability enhancement in line with the #IndianArmy’s #DecadeOfTransformation. The review highlighted the integration of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (#ISR) assets with precision firepower, indigenously developed New Technology Equipment (NTE) for long-range surveillance and precision targeting and Counter-UAS systems for force protection, operationalised up to formation level. Enhanced battlefield transparency, shorter OODA loops and stronger sensor-to-shooter linkages underscored the growing combat edge of a #FutureReady force.
