It’s International Women’s Day and early childhood Educators all over the country are pleased to report that we got tens of thousands women off to work and study today. #theECmanagersyear
We celebrated an Educator’s return to work after having her child. Part of the ‘re-entry’ kit for her. As a society we don’t celebrate parenting milestones. Perhaps if we did the complexity of parenting might be more respected in the workplace @the_parenthood #theECmanagersyear

’What is it like running an EC service? I manage a multiprogram service for 200+ families with 40+ staff, and a budget in the millions. Its busy. I do 10 hour days and take work home for the weekend.’
