✨ I spoke something I wanted outloud to others. I don't do this anymore bc that kind of vulnerability is seen as a weakness & I'm tired of being taken advantage of.
But this time I said it to the right ppl & all the things are falling in alignment.✨ #TheMCSquad
@TheMCSquad_dc is heading to Chicago to hang with our homies @Asxconsulting, @CherrieBucknor & Dr. Brown for some MAGIA ✨✨✨🔥🔥🎉 #TheMCSquad
@TheMCSquad_dc has been a WILD journey since 2017 & #TheMCSquad wouldn't exist w/o her & her com. skills. This is an opportunity to better understand how much society shames folks w/ nonstandard verbal communication. Disabled=/=incompetent or dumb!!
There is no better feeling in the world than facilitating a good training. Seeing people's minds struggle to unlearn something they've always believed to be true and slowly click, is my damn drug!
Specifically, White men and elderly BIWOC give me life!! #TheMCSquad
DEI & Racial Equity work DO NOT BELONG under HUMAN RESOURCES. They are the antithesis of each other. #TheMCSquad
Shout out to @_pamcampos for connecting us to @TheTinaVasquez and the wonderful folks @prismreports. She knew a WOC-led newsroom would understand #TheMCSquad in a heartbeat and they did. 💖 Thanks for having us! 💫
Culture is everyone's responsibility but leadership sets the tone!!
Stop blaming workers for your toxic workplaces and start doing the INTERNAL work! #TheMCSquad #Nonprofits #WOC

We didn't forget about *that* Grim piece.
The responsibility is on leaders, not workers, to align the values of their work with the way they treat their workers.

“This is the work that I love to do,” Borysiewicz said. “The community-building aspect of this work is what I live and breathe for.”
New interview from the one & only, Kaitlyn Borysiewicz-Ramirez, co-founder of #TheMCSquad.

The problem with surrounding yourself with badass WOC who understand you and believe in what you believe is the opportunity to transform your wildest dreams into reality. It's scary and it's invigorating, but I can't wait to see where we'll be in a year. ✨💖💕 #TheMCSquad
Woke up in pain, took some meds & got to work. "I can handle it," I said to myself. By 2pm, I made incorrect payments, sent wrong calendar invites, & updated the wrong slide deck.🤦🏽♀️
I finally told #TheMCSquad & let them handle the rest of the day. Let ppl help you!! #Disability
I want everyone to know that the moment you let a toxic person who has caused harm go w/out consequences and to save face, they end up at other organizations and HURT PPL. That's on you and we should stop doing this NOW. #BadBosses #Toxicworkplaces #Nomprofits #TheMCSquad
Spend this Sunday with #TheMCSquad & Lía Catalina Perea Mena for an oracle collective energy reading to help you focus on self-love. ❤️ https://t.co/ZAjZF9SCbP
Check out our latest interview in @businessinsider. White Supremacy is still alive and well and a #BidenHarrisTransition doesn't mean we stop fighting. #TheMCSquad https://t.co/TLZarxDqfC via @businessinsider
This right here is the absolute truth and WHY we don't do one-off trainings. Anyone can be a consultant but to be a facilitator with impact and creator of culture shift is another level. #TheMCSquad
"You are more than your toxic workplace and you never have to go through experiencing racism at work on your own. And with The MC, you never will." My co-founder and I created this space because we had nowhere to turn and the world was gaslighting us into complacency. #TheMCSquad
Why does #RacialJusticeAtWork matter? For starters, 'cos the stress that comes from experiencing racism in the workplace is linked to our health. https://t.co/sDC5Jhvryi
I'm not building any business on the backs of WOC ok. I'm building it with the love and support of WOC ❤️ #TheMCSquad
A5: Our #TheMCSquad community shared some stories and insights on accountability in social justice spaces on the blog. https://t.co/67z8NnMXqe #EndWhiteSilence #WorkingWOC
A1: We started #TheMCSquad after enduring racist abuse at a reproductive health nonprofit. #WorkingWOC #EndWhiteSilence
"Black people have Black pride, why can't I have disabled pride? Then I learned about the Disability Pride Movement and I never looked back." @Olas_Truth #BreakthroughSpotlight #DisabilityPride #TheMCSquad
I just want the world to know it took me 5 years to be able to say "I was fired" bc I was taking too long to heal. The official comment was "we're going in a different direction" but it was retaliation for having a disability. The onus was not/is not on me.#TheMCSquad #Nonprofits
