Mystery reef, Kommetjie. Grey skies and strong SE winds down south today. Still some waves about, but long lulls - seems to be dropping. Guys have been getting big barrels at the beachies. Enjoy the day. Swell 5 feet, high tide 4pm. Water freezing, of course. #atlantic #theoom

Though the surf websites predict small swell and howling wind, it's a beautiful morning down in Kommetjie. Kom is about 3-4 foot light SSE, low tide 10 am could be a few kraakers down Kakapo way or at Ratelklip, which you guys now call The Hoek. Have a great week stokies! #theoom
