Once again an #OpSnap submission has fallen on deaf ears with @Glos_Police. I will now be taking this further as the email I received in reply was identical, word for word to another incident I reported.

Police need automated enforcement,its easy to detect.

@Bikery1966 I can't sing the praises of WYP #OpSnap team highly enough. Probably the best in the UK & if we ever do get a national portal they should be top of the list to run it! They set the example every Police Service should follow when it comes to #thirdpartyreporting.

@WestYorksPolice If we ever do get a national @OpSnap portal then it's clear to me that WYP should be top of the list to run that service. Definitely the best Police Service in the UK when it comes to #thirdpartyreporting IMO.

@AndrewRendle @DulwichRoads Yes. Unlike most #thirdpartyreporting offences you don't need a full video clip for a white zig zag offence. Pictures would be enough if they clearly show the VRN & the vehicle stopped/parked on the lines. It's a statutory offence, so 3 points & ยฃ100 fine.

@Naughtydrivers @metpoliceuk There are just 16 @metpoliceuk staff handling 32,000 cases annually. Some have a caseload of several hundred. #thirdpartyreporting can change drivers' behaviour but it needs its funding at least doubled and preferably quadrupled to be really effective.
