@BMutebuka This dynamic is nothing new. During the #ThisFlag movement, Tsvangirai was heavily booed and heckled by citizens. Protesters hurled insults at him, accusing him of being co-opted by the Mugabe regime, while declaring him too old and ineffective to lead the youth.
On this day, 13 July 2016, Pastor Evan Mawarire @PastorEvanLive walked free after ZANU-PF @ZANUPF_Official tried to crush him with fake treason charges for simply waving the #ThisFlag and demanding a better Zimbabwe.
His courage sparked a national awakening that transcended party lines as Young and Old across the country, stood up for dignity and justice.
Today, as we face CAB 3 and attempts to entrench power, #WeThePeople draw strength from that spirit. We will continue resisting peacefully, lawfully and relentlessly until Zimbabwe belongs to all its people!!!

The challenges at hand know not opposition nor NRM. We should call upon all decent Ugandans to speak out against misrule.
I am wondering why the leadership of Parliament, Judiciary, Inter-Religious Council of Uganda, National Consultative Forum of Political Parties and the Senior Counsel Bar are not calling press conference after another to speak up against misplaced role of the military in our politics and administration of justice.
By the way, where is the Female Lawyers Network, Christian Lawyers, Catholic Lawyers Network, Network of Public Interest Lawyers and all manner of lawyers groups that were quick to issue press statements against @isaacssemakadde for calling Justice Abodo an obscene word? Are you not seeing that rule of law champion Erias Lukwago is under illegal military detention? Did you target Ssemakadde because you thought he was weaker than MK? Do you feel the pain of Lukwago and his wife?
We are surrounded by a bunch of English speaking hypocrites.
Guys, style up. Get on record and tell us your stand. Uganda will never solve the Governance problem without complete DEMILITARISATION of our politics and administration of justice.

This reminds me of 2018 when the entire emerging class of 2018 started 20 different movements/Campaigns after #ThisFlag leader EM did a Chamisa and went USA.
The naive generation all wanted to be ahead Dog. So we Got the Yellow Campaign by Mahere starting off a year before the Blue Campaign by Musvaburi then Orange by Chiposi, the Purple by Masarira, then Light Blue by Mawarire, Nyirongo & Rasta Marshal (returned) , then Green by LKSibz, then another blue by Mubaiwa, then another light Blue by Karase, then Rasta Kaseke yellowish…. Blue by Debbie Peters… sigh
All ended up failing and getting less votes than spoilt Ballots (except Mahere who got 5.5k votes … 10 times all the others combined by still beaten by an absent passport photo - all the others combined got less than 500 votes county wide 🤯).
I highly recommend a United front NOW…
I’ve seen this movie. Spitting people, resources and tactics weakens the goal.
