Old pic of the day: 'Monument to Chatterton at Bristol' from 'The Literary World' May 2 1840. This memorial to Bristol's famous boy poet #ThomasChatterton, who was inspired by the gothic grandeur of #stmaryredcliffe and who died in 1770, once stood to the north of the church.
