We just started this at @500Startups on Slack. We call it Thought Stream. I, along with other managing partners, started our own channels (eg "#thoughtstream-tim" ) where any of our 120 global team members can follow the activity of things we otherwise wouldn't share on Twitter.

I’ve often though something like this would be very helpful for people to understand exactly what an executive does. The issue is the confidentiality. Hard to convey a real day-in-the-life without specifics. Though maybe you just go full Buffer and open it all?
