This is 515 Jarvis, built for Arthur McMaster in 1868, later named Euclid Hall by the Masseys. It has seen many uses over the years - since 1976, it has been the Keg Mansion.

Northeast corner of Huntley Street and Isabella Street, early 1960s. This building stood until about 2009, and has since been replaced by the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario headquarters.

Looking east, along the south side of Bloor St E, from Huntley to Sherbourne. Today, this view would mainly be Postmedia Place and the new Canopy hotel / Rosedale on Bloor condos. At the end of the block, on the corner, 421 Bloor St E still stands.

I did a double take when I realized what building this is - at first I didn’t recognize it at all.
87 Front St E.
Just across Market Street from St. Lawrence Market.
Built 1858. Designated 1986.
Still there today, cleaned up and restored.

Looking north from Queens Quay West, just west of Bay, an unobstructed (pre-Gardiner) view of the Toronto Postal Delivery Building (now Scotiabank Arena). Harbour Commission Bldg to the left. Field in the foreground is now Waterpark Place.

I never knew this building, but I like it. University Lutheran Chapel, 610-612 Spadina Avenue (west side, between Willcocks and Harbord). Now the site of the St. Vladimir Institute/Ukrainian Museum of Canada.

A good view north along Yonge, from Wellesley. Negative sleeve says Oct ‘64. I see Hercules a few buildings down! Long since replaced by Seduction, which has now also closed. Masonic Hall Buildings at 2 Gloucester in the distance. Yellow Cab at the intersection.
