@Ajitkum85387448 #Maximum_Permissible_Speed will be declared as #160_kmph after inspection of CRS. But, will not be any considerable reduction in #Journey_Time between Mumbai to Ahmedabad. #Track_Geometry deteriorates prematurely. MANY reasons to cite, but don't reduce overall #Journey_Time.

@Ajitkum85387448 @ManiSudhanshu58 Due to #Design_flaw_of_Rail_Track, #Track_Geometry of our rail-tracks deteriorates PREMATURELY and demands maintenance. #110_kmph to #130_kmph is the threshold-limit of train-speeds, beyond which dynamic forces get amplified exponentially (because of #Design_flaw_of_Rail_Track).

Inspection of #Commissioner_of_Rail_Safety happens after extensive track-maintenance works. After approval, #Maximum_Permissible_Speed increases. Due to #Design_flaw_of_Rail_Track, #Track_Geometry deteriorates PREMATURELY. #Average_Speeds of trains will be AS USUAL, very low.

I still haven’t gotten a convincing argument as to why IR can’t target 125kph average on 160kph tracks Especially knowing that Talgo demonstrated 114kph average, stopping at ALL Rajdhani stops, between Mumbai & Delhi with no track upgrade at all Anybody?
