This is a really old post but I think about it all the time. There is a massive divide between what ‘prevention’ professionals teach and what the professionals say when a child DOES report. (FYI - Third child was the child after experiencing the system abuse.) #triangleoftrauma
Do the professionals providing child sexual abuse education asking kids to tell know what happens when they do tell? Do the professionals in the justice system know kids are being asked to tell when they do not fit the ‘criteria’ to be believed and defended? #triangleoftrauma
