Hi Rachael, Solid! There’s a market for this sort of thing (food packaging etc.). You probably already know that. Anyway… Try cleaning up your edges a touch. They’re a little unrefined. And… try eliminating the use of line—since you almost do that already. #twittercrit

Hi Tanya, Try these things to “turn the screws”: 1) Define your edges a touch more in the foreground. This will add clarity/focus. 2) Remove/lighten the darks in the background. This will create depth. 3) Consider texture a touch more. This will add visual interest. #twittercrit

Hi Erick, Good idea to use shapes/color to separate elements. Marker is a tricky medium. It’s hard to make it even with you’re trying to go for flat areas of color. Maybe try @CopicMarkerAU? Work a little bigger. Some of the smaller details are getting lost. #twittercrit

Hi Nico, Two things: 1) The characters/props are stylistically different than the background. So they don’t feel like they’re part of the same world. 2) Look at reference. The animals don’t feel as informed (we don’t mean realistic!) as they should be. #twittercrit

Hi Heather! Good details, good overall composition. Two things: 1) Try turning down the saturation volume in select areas. Not EVERYTHING needs to be so saturated. 2) Clean up your contours a bit. The edges of things (like its head) feel under-considered. #twittercrit
Hi Denise, This might be the best piece WE’VE ever seen you create (we’re sure you’ve done other great ones—we just haven’t seen them). The wolves, and outfit are well designed, painted. Her face is less so, however. Feels a bit stiff compared to everything else. #twittercrit
