#UEDCLUpdate: Dear customers on the Namugongo-Bukerere feeder, a breakdown has occurred, resulting in the current outage in the following areas: Sonde, Goma, Bukerere, Kiwango, Kasai, Nakagere, Kyambogo, Nsasa, Nabusugwe, Joggo, Misindye, Seeta Kob road, Namasiga plus (Nakwero and Kira feeders will be switched off at around 11pm as a safety precaution) for the ongoing restoration works. To avoid a longer outage, we have turned off the substation on emergency to address the defect that could cause a prolonged outage. The affected areas are listed below: Ntinda TC, Kalinabari, Kulambiro, Kisaasi TC, Kisasi Dungu Zone, Ssebagala Zone, certain Komamboga regions, Kisasi-kyanja rd, Kigowa, Kiwatule, Najjera 1, Najjera 2, Bukoto T.C., and Ntinda-Bukoto rd. Some areas of Naguru, Minister's Village, Kisota, Bahai, Kyambogo University, Kyambogo Kabaka's Palace, Ntinda Industrial Area, Ntinda-Kyambogo Road, Bukoto-Kisasi Road, and Bukoto Town Centre.
