I am extremely outraged, to say the very least. Ladies and gentlemen, this is Dr Col. Kizza Besigye. He needs no introduction. A whole medical doctor who has spent his entire life taking care of others, a retired colonel, and a freedom fighter. Yet today, he was treated with less dignity than a chicken thief. Watching the events unfold in court this afternoon filled me with a level of anger that left me utterly speechless. To see an elder of his stature subjected to this is a profound violation of human decency. Dr Besigye went down in the dock while trying to put a crucial point across. He collapsed right onto the courtroom floor. Shockingly, Judge. Gosh, so-called judge inhumanely continued reading as if nothing had happened. The "first aid" he received was a group of prison officers abruptly surrounding and pulling up an unconscious, visibly weak man. His hand hung completely limp. No paramedics. No proper medical response. Absolutely nothing. This is pure, unadulterated cruelty. To think that some random people came to this country, killed half a million of its citizens so they could get where they could steal (money, land and more lives), so they could eat and get clothed by its citizens while children starve, mothers die while giving birth, youths unemployed and some unemployable, humiliate our elders. Look at Dr KB, look at Hajji Omulodi Erias Lukwago, look at what they have done to Hon Muwanga Kivumbi bakaffa olumbe!!!! Not end of rant. This rant is open.
