Even on International Women’s Day, Palestinian women who are being bombed and starved by a genocidal regime do not get a mention from you. Palestinian women have been murdered in their thousands. Some are delivering babies without hospitals or anesthetic - babies who, if they survive, are immediately subject to starvation and a life without basic medical assistance. Palestinian women are subject to illegal detention, brutality and routine sexual violence in Israeli prisons. They have not received a mention from you. Instead, your TL is full of praise for Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton and Penny Wong - the major and minor architects of this catastrophe. You have also shared the now completely debunked claim that Israel was not responsible for the destruction of Al Ahli hospital. I don’t need your endorsement and I don’t need to be a crutch in whatever game of liberal white ally you’re playing here. If you can tweet this bit as a writer and public figure without making the glaring and obvious parallel to what is happening to Palestinians, you definitely do not get the joke. Being a shill for the ALP and the Democrats in the midst of a genocide is peak white feminism at a level beyond parody.
