@GO_TIP #A5 #virtualassessmenttools I use the Feedback option on Teams, I will draw/type directly on their assignments comments and feedback, I will give them verbal feedback while they’re working, I will meet with them one on one to discuss feedback, as well as various other ways.

@GO_TIP #A5 #virtualassessmenttools I share feedback most often on the document they turn in, whether it is an assignment in Teams or TeacherMade. When my class was writing their essays a few weeks ago, I held individual virtual writing conferences where I provided verbal feedback.

@GO_TIP #Q4 #virtualassessmenttools If I am using a nearpod for my lesson, I will use one of the built in activities on there. If not, I typically use the chat in Teams or a padlet!

@GO_TIP #A3 #virtualassessmenttools A few potential barriers to consider are distractions that may be happening while at home, not being in the proper setting/environment to focus while being assessed, connection/computer issues.

@GO_TIP #A2 #virtualassessmenttools I use numerous tools, such as Nearpod, Padlet, Microsoft Forms, FlipGrid, USA Test Prep, Breakout Room Discussions. I can use these tools for formative and summative assessments to be able to check understanding and be able to adapt my lessons.

@GO_TIP It’s necessary to assess students virtually because it helps inform your teaching as well as provides feedback to the student on their strengths and areas of improvement #A1 #VirtualAssessmentTools
