Another very successful speed operation by the CMPD Motor Unit with the help of officers from South, Independence, Westover and Central Divisions. The goal of these speed operations is to get drivers to slow down in some of the most dangerous stretches of roads in Charlotte based on the @CharlotteDOT Vision Zero program. This week, officers set up in the 9100 block of Park Road. They made 101 stops and issued 91 citations including 80 for speeding. The speed limit is 35 and our officers tracked speeds close to 80 mph. Slow down and stay safe! #visionzero
