Sucks that we lost that game at Oklahoma St last night. Can’t believe how great the fans were though. Some of the nicest people I’ve ever come across. Can’t count how many times we heard “welcome to Stillwater!” or “want a beer?”. Wish ASU were so welcoming towards opposing fans.
Road game number 30 all-time for me. Been fortunate to have been able to experience so many games and so many different college towns and game days. Results aren’t what we’d like but I will never trade the experience. Stillwater ranks up there with the best.
Aside from the game result, Stillwater has been a great road trip. I’m grateful for how friendly the Oklahoma State people were, and I was thoroughly impressed by how cool the town was.
Also, it was awesome to get to meet up with some fixtures of ASU Twitter yesterday. #GoDevils
As for Oklahoma/Stillwater, what a great trip.
The city, the tailgating scene, the stadium, all of it was fantastic.
I can confidently say that I would not mind this being an every other year road trip if things go that way.
