The PCMA governs #childmarriage in #India. It makes a distinction between marriages where the child has been trafficked or kidnapped – which are declared invalid or VOID, and other underage marriages as VOIDABLE – which means they can be nullified at the choice of the minor.
In simple words, a contract is an agreement between parties and it must be enforceable. In India, Contracts are governed by the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
