#weWASHbecause According to the most recent WHO/UNICEF joint monitoring program, 29% of the global population lack access to safely managed drinking water. This means 2.1 billion people do not have water located on premises, available when needed, & free from contaminants. #WASH

#weWASHbecause Uganda currently records about 33 children dying every day due to diarrheal diseases, a number that can be reduced and ultimately prevented with access to clean water and hygiene education.

#weWASHbecause in 2017 we launched our WASH programming in 36 schools reaching 5,000 children across the Bihar State and Kolkata slums. Since then, we've seen a 97% total reduction rate in diarrheal diseases in the schools we served! We want this kind of impact everywhere๐ค

#weWASHbecause According to the #UNICEF and #WHO most recent joint monitoring programme report, 47% of the population in least developing countries have no access to handwashing facilities with soap and water at all, and only 27% had the most basic facilities available.
