Again. You were provided with the data that shows IV insertion infrared technology is not as affective on Black skin. That was used on me yesterday when they failed multiple times to insert the IV. Your experiences don’t mean medical racism didn’t occur. #WhiteCentering

@Olas_Truth Because i have had similar problems getting IB catheters inserted. During one CT scan it took them five tries to get a catheter inserted so they could give me the contrast for my cancer scan. I brought up my race because my similar problem indicates it might not be about race.

@KeneAkers Book bans are another form of #WhiteCentering. Fragile White Republicans have literally banned decent books by Black authors in red states because they disagree with the perspectives of the Black authors who wrote them. Talk about being intolerant. #GOPbookbans #WhiteFragility

I hear: This is not a time for #whitegaze or #whitecentering on black lives or disability. Listen to Black Women in all of their nuance and diverse perspective and for when there is area of agreement. Restrain the need to comment and Listen some more.

4. #AntiRacism practices start with aknowledging all of that! @paimadhu mandatory trainings for journalists all well. The world is NOT neutral. We need to move away from #whitecentering and learn from each other rather than the current uni-directional knowledge production model
